Is Fahrenheit supported by the xbox 360?

After being rather excited by the Heavy Rain trailer i decided it was time i finally gave Fahrenheit a go. These days i find myself more immersed by consoles than i do the PC so have been looking for an original xbox copy, which i have found. Now i know this can be bought on the xbox marketplace for 1200 points but i've also found it, new, on disk for £5.85. Am i right in assuming if a game is available on the live marketplace the disk version will also work with the 360?
 
The guys i bought it from new were lying :( They had no new stock and tried to palm me off with a second hand copy. I've now ordered myself a second hand copy for £4.99, can't wait!

Can you install xbox games to the harddrive or is it 360 games only?
 
Ah balls, is it as loud as a normal 360 disk? Tempted to fork out double in order to get the download, but i like owning the disk.

I've not had a problem with sound on my 360 really so I couldn't tell you. And my copy of Fahrenheit is for the PC.

You've inspired me to reinstall it now. :p You miss this bit on the Xbox I guess. :D

Just completed it, really great game tbh, it's really pushed games in a direction i'd like to see continue (which heavy rain should do!), my only complaint is that the minigames during cutscenes often detracted from the cutscene itself. From what i've read however they've worked hard on incorporating the interactive parts into the cutscenes better in heavy rain which is promising.

Anyways, can't wait for heavy rain!

How did you manage to install onto Vista mate? Tried that the other day and it caused no end of troubles :(

In the end I didn't. :( Had so many problems with it and ended up wasting the best part of the afternoon following a ton of different guides none of which seemed to work on Vista 64. I've you've got a 32 bit version you may have better luck.

I think I'll pick it up for the Xbox before Heavy Rain comes out though.
 
tons of bugs when playing on a vista machine, my game would prematurley end cutscenes and all other types of issues which is obv very annoying in a game like this, dual booted xp just to play it! yes it is v good
 
For anyone looking to play this again who owns a 360, my xbox copy played flawlessly and i got it for less than a fiver. There's plenty of copies floating about for that sort of price so keep your eyes open. Mine cost £4.99 and turns out it is the special edition with a spinkee cardboard sleeve/book sorta thing.
