Is G-Sync Available When Connecting Laptop to Monitor?

Just curious about this one really... If I had a laptop with a dedicated Nvidia GPU, would it be possible to enable G-Sync when the laptop is connected to an external monitor (one with G-Sync obviously)?

Afaik then yes, as long as the gpu is modern enough to be Gsync-capable.

You might need to check, as some laptops use the same connector for "high"and "low" power GPU modes meaning the signal is always routed through the iGPU which doesn't support gsync

A quick google for "external gsync laptop" and there are people asking "why can't i see the gsync tab" for specific models of laptop

yes i run an external display from my 1080 Alienware and both screens run gysnc but will need a mini DP connector to full size
