Hi All,

I'm in the market for a new gaming monitor to pair with my 780ti, I would like g-sync but at the moment the choice is far to limited. I'm debating weather to forgot about g-sync or wait.

Can anyone with g-sync experience give me there impressions of it and say weather its worth waiting for?

Thanks

Freesync should be out in November, I would consider waiting for this and reading any available reviews before making your choice.

G-sync is totally worth waiting for

I bought the rog swift expecting to send it back as i wasnt sure it would be worth the price premium, however i was so blown away that i've kept it

What else is it you are looking for in addition to gsync that is stopping you?

Not really relevant as he has a 780ti and no plans to change

Mainly choice, the g-sync monitors are pretty limited. Would love a swift but just cant justify the price. The 27" acer seems to get mixed reviews and i'm reluctant to have a 27" @1080p screen because of pixel size (i sit fairly close to screen), the AOC also gets mixed reviews again from the few impressions i can find.

If G-sync is really worth it i'm happy to wait until more of the manufacturers release versions.

i would wait till they either bring the price of the swift down or bring out a monitor of same quality for a reasonable price. Then you have the ips panels that are suppose to be in development that will be 1440p+120hz.

i will wait even till the end of next year if it means me having a better monitor for the following 5 years.

My initial impression of g-sync (only hooked the monitor up a few hours ago) are positive though I do get a lot of flicker below 30fps (which is apparently normal).
