Is Gears playing ok through VGA on 4:3 Monitors?

I dont mind letter box but until my 26ws arrives i'll be on my 4:3 tft is it playing ok? no stupid stretching or "doesn't support XYZ mode" like hitman?

i reckon it should work, i mean its one of the biggest games for the 360, it'd be stupid not to include most resolutions etc

all i can tell you is its one of them games that requires your 360 to be set to pal 60 (its written on the box)

looks ok on my mitsubishi diamondtron 22" compared to a standard tv much sharper, however due to its 4:3 standard it is slightly squashed. however if you do use a 4:3 resolution it looks fine but theres more jagged edges visible due to the stretching of the image i think.

Tried 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768 and both are slightly squashed vertically so the characters seem slightly fatter.

Just play it on mine and it was a bit squashed. But really you don't notice once you're in the game playing

bit squash, nothing you can't live with, it still looks amazing
