Is gsync a must on a qd-oled

Hi folks.
I have used gsync monitors since they were released.
At the moment i have a 4090 gtx with a 4k acer predator 27 inch monitor.
I want to have a try at the new qd-oled 27 inch monitors but they all seem to be free sync only..
I am happy togo back to 1440p but I am unsure if I would miss the gsnc..does anyone have any experience from going to a monitor with an nvidia gpu which can't use gsync??

I've had both freesync and G-Sync monitors, and i've not noticed any difference in day to day usage (in that they both give the same experience).

You won't notice the difference between Gsync and Gsync compatible - but you'll definitely notice going from 4k to 1440p.

Most monitors now are all 'adapative sync' - so they're both Freesync and Gsync compatible. There's only a few monitors now that get the Gsync ultimate module and none of the OLEDs currently have it.

AW3423DW has it - as far as I know the only oled with Gsync ultimate module.
