Is Hisense 43AE7400FTUK a good HDR TV?

It's much the same as the competing TVs at a similar price. They're never bright enough to do justice to HDR. Yhen again, verynfew if any of the sub-£800 sets puy out enough light to make HDR really pop.

The video scaling on most cheaper TVs is iffy compared to Samsung. However, the Hisense is likely to last longer than a similarly priced LG. They're getting a bad rep for premature LED backlight failure because they fitted too few and so overdrive the remaining ones to the point where they burn out in a couple of years.

A bit late but I've just bought one.
On Christmas Day I spent a bit of time with my daughters and on Thursday I spent a lot more time with it.
I was very impressed with the picture quality so today I talked the wife into replacing our 15 year old Panasonic but I mistakingly ordered the 7300, realised 30 minutes later, rang the helpline and swopped it for the 7400.
It comes on Thursday.
