Is it even possible to transfer money from a credit card to a general account?

I have this online banking thing with my barclaycard but the only options i appear to have is either making payments into the card's account. Or paying for things with the card in shops or online.

But what i really need to do is transfer credit from my card to my general account, but i cant see the option anywhere

A balance transfer? Don't have Barclaycard myself but it may be that you have to phone up to arrange a balance transfer and get some forms sent to you to do it instead of online.

That sounds like it would take a bit of time, i need to do it by friday

Also, does anyone know if barclays banks handles barclaycard enquiries? Cant tell if they are two different companies in partnership

balance transfer or cc cheque may make friday but would be close , you need to do a cash advance ( atm or counter ) and deposit the cash in your account
