Hello,
I have RMA-ed my Patriot PDC1G3200BXLK and they came back to me saying that as they do not have this memory in stock they would like to upgrade me to PDC2G3200LLK Extreme Performance sticks.
The original was with the famous Samsung chips at 2-2-2-5 timings and the upgrade will be at 2-3-2-5. The first one was 2x512Mb and this should 2x1Gb.
The question is whether the small difference in the latency will be seriously harming the performance?
I know for sure that they have stopped producing these chips anyway.
Initially they tried to dumped on me some PDC1G3500LLK, which I refused and they came back to me with the current offer.
What do you think about that guys?
Cheers,
Jordan
