..to use proxies or whatever to be able to view content online that is not available in your country?

I.E. CBS website/Hulu.com etc.

This breathing out stuff is tough.

Basically, any proxy I find that works has a really high latency.

There are ones availale with low latency but require a username and password to access.

I had to move webhost as I left a proxy on my site that I never use. Over 11 days someone from china had racked up 23Gb of my hosting package bandwith .......thats 23 out of 25

Leaving an open proxy out in the wild is basically like pulling your trousers down and bending over in Hampstead Heath - in both cases, you can't blame anyone but yourself when you get a right good rogering.
