Is it just me, or does DOW2 have an inordinately larger number of bugs?

Downloaded Dawn of war 2 via steam, start the game, set everything to max (if a GTX280 can't do that, frankly the devs need a kick up the ovaries) and the campaign crashes just as the game engine controlled cinematics start it crashes. A lot of people have been complaining recently due to errors in the game. My opinion is that it must have been rushed. Any ideas?

I turned my setting down from High to Medium/Low as the devs have recconmended it if you have a lot of crashes and so far I'm suffering fewer crashes but they are happening. They really need to get a patch out for it to fix these problems.

My campaign crashes with 2 mins of starting everytime. However, I can play the skirmishes as long as I want. Not ideal for me since I didn't play much of DoW1 so I'd like the campaign so I can get used to the different units etc.

Also have a GTX280

So far, my game crashed after the first attempt of play, right after opening cut scene. After that, I reduced my texture and effects settings to HIGH (everything else is Ultra/ or highest setting). Has been working ok since then.
GTX280 SLI

Working fine for me now with everything maxed out. I had to turn off AAA in the Catalyst panel, that royally fudged the game and caused endless crashes.

I had really slow framerate issues and found out that I was forcing 16xQAA on it so I turned it off on the NV control panel and I'm back to 60fps again.

See if you are forcing any settings.

haven't had any crashes yet, although I have had the odd case of dead ork bodies flying around all over the place in single player.

I have no issues with it at all. Apart from the fan on my Q6600 sounding like its trying to cool molten lava when i play it.

It doesnt do it on anything else, it doesnt look like it shoul be particulary taxing on the CPU.
