Hello,

Wondering if you could help, in Windows Update working for you?

I need some updates and went to see what was available, as i know i need a lot and it says:

[Error number: 0x80004005]

The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

I've searched the error, seen others having the problem but aint' found any fixes. If someone could help it would be appreciated.

I have SP2 also, thanks

Its working OK for me here. Have you tried clearing the cache in IE. Just out of interest are you using IE6 or IE7?

Tried everything i can possibly think of, IE6

Works fine here with IE6.

Fine in IE7, but tells me I need 212MB of updates

Have you reset all the security and advanced options in IE?

Or you could use this alternate update site.
http://windowsupdate.62nds.com/

Or just turn on automatic updates.
