Howzit Guys,

Now I am not too sure, but I would just like to know if I am the only one having this problem?

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate on the current machine:

AMD A64 3200+ (2.4Ghz)
1Gb OCZ DDR Memory
X800XT 256Mb
2x 160GB in a SATA Raid - 0 (Shows up as one drive in Windows)
Shuttle XPC SN85G4

Now, I have noticed a big proformance drop with the Vista, obviously this was expected. I am running 7.2's (latest drivers for now)

I have read on these forum people with Ati cards are getting very smooth game play Where as I am getting low FRPS on most of my games...even GTA SA plays slowly at times..:(

Do I just wait for newer drivers?
Is it my SATA raid config causing this?

Running a nForce 3 150 - No drivers drom nVidia for Vista, managed to get sound only. Could this be the reason why?

many thanks guys!

Try running Process Explorer from Sysinternals to see if anything is stealing your CPU when running games.

Well the games that I do notice a slow down in proformance, even in the video intros at times are:

Need For Speed: Carbon - The worse to play on my system. :(
Need For Speed: Most Wanted - Low FRPS
FarCry - Quite low FRPS
Call Of Duty: U.O - Low FRPS
GTA: SA - Slows down abit at times
