Is it just me..

if you can't decide, we're here to help :)

Well im learning a lot by reading stickies and comparisons so I dont wanna spam the board with a "spec me a card" thread. Id rather do my own legwork first, best way to learn i spose :D

But the offer of help is always nice if I get stuck, Im just finding more cards seem to appear every day!

I would agree that the card makers tend to oversaturate the market with too many models and then too many variations of those models. Having said that out of all of them there tends to be only a few that are good value depending on your budget.

I do see what you mean ........for example 5 EVGA gtx580's it does seem a little excessive.

Not really different to the way it has always been:

1. Pick a budget
2. Check performance/benchmarks for cards within that budget
3. Add/subtract your Nvidia/ATI bias
4. Buy card.

"Is it just me or is the range of cards available just staggering?!"

Would've been a better (less annoying) thread title ;)
