I have a legit CD key but I've lost my disc. Is it legal to download an ISO of XP SP3? If so, where can I find one? Thanks.

Could just look on public torrent sites but I am slightly paranoid about them having malware in.

I dont think we are allowed to discuss these types of sites on here although i would be inclined to download it if all you have done is lost the CD.

You are asking for xp SP3, however I assume you mean XP SP3 Home, Pro, or MCE... you have asked for the service pack CD yet I assume you want the OS CD...

the download linked looks to me like just the SP CD and not the OS CD..

you cant discuss the downloading of illegal torrents, but i cant see a problem with legal downloads

As far as I understand if you own a retail copy of Windows you can request a replacement disc directly from Microsoft, if so contact them via their website or phone customer services.

If you have an OEM license for Windows Microsoft will not give you a new CD, and it is up to the discretion of the original PC vender who supplied you with a copy in the first place. Normally they won't as OEM are cheap for a reason but it's worth asking :)

Get yourself a copy of Windows 7 home premium its cheap enough or get the upgrade version and you can upgrade you existing Xp installation.

Getting an upgrade to Windows 7 is the way to go if you must buy a disk Naturally your puter must be up to to specs
What version of XP do you have What make of puter?

Incorrect, I've obtained replacement OEM XP and Visa disks through the Microsoft replacement disk program :).
