is it me or have motocross/enduro bikes shot up in price?

hey guys,

some of you may know im looking for a 2006+ YZ 125 motocross bike.
ive been looking everywhere and they are so expensive!

i remember a 2004 KX85 was £1400 about 6 years ago with new plastics and graphics at a dealer!

i mean the same dealer has a 2000 YZ 125 for £1100! have prices shot up because Christmas is coming soon? how much would you say a 06 YZ 125 is worth?

They're just becoming harder to get.

Older two strokes are holding their value because of the fear of an old (same age) four stroke blowing up.

Yamaha are still making two strokes as you probably know, there's loads about, just at stupid prices lol

When I was looking 6 months ago you couldn't get anything worth having for under £1500. My TM was £1600 for a 2006 and I couldn't find anything cheaper, at least locally

I've seen a 2005 RM125 for 850 ono BUT it has a problem with second gear, is it worth a risk? I could probably get it a little cheaper too, but if it cant be fixed I could get my money back stripping it and selling it in parts?

What do you guys think?
