i have a Dell UltraSharp 2209WA 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

the monitor is working perfectly and i havent had a single problem with it but i have noticed that the blue power led often blinks from dim to bright, for some reason this seems to happen more when im playing games :confused:

i have a GTX295 so the only thing i can think of is that it has something to do with the multiple gpu's as they are changing signals or something

is it something i should worry about?
 
One of my NEC 24WMGX3s started to do this a few weeks in from buying it.
Turned out it was a duff led/connection and gave up the ghost not long after.

If you apply pressure on the bezel around the button/led does it make any difference?

common problem on the U2410 which is the bigger brother of your monitor. Mine started doing it and a few days later the LED was gone completely.
 
thanks for the replies, mine has done it since i got it (a few months) and to be honest i wouldnt be to fussed if the led went :) as long as the screen still works im happy
next time it does it ill try and see if pressing around it makes a difference
 
saves power and therefore money when you leave it on standby :) as long as its just the LED thats the problem, anyway...
