Hi, I have had wii u for a few years now, its not actually had a great deal of use and are now thinking of selling it.

from times we have used it and testing it recently i have found that when the game pad is fully charged, if left for a week / couple of weeks, the gamepad is then dead when you come to use it and i want to know if i need to replace the battery or if its normal?

doing a quick google seems to show a lot of people saying similar, but i thought id ask directly to anyone who's got one that can answer.
Regards
James

Yes the battery discharges over the course of a couple of weeks if it isn't used.

The gamepad should really have come with the high capacity battery as standard imo. At least it has better battery life than my DS4 with heaphones plugged in. That is running at about 2 1/2 hours now....
