Is it normal my MSI Gaming 280x's are different size?

Seriously, the pcb is different size, different labels, power plugs are reversed on one of them. Is this normal????

Yep different version. 1.1 and 1.2.

Chances of that?

The version 1.1 card is not good. Idle temp in open case is 43c and mining for just 1 minute the core goes to 86! I turn it off at that point. Is that normal????

The version 1.2 card is great. 100% fan, warm room, 69c

Do I need to send the version 1.1 back? Or look for new bios?

reversion marking is down by the PCI-E pins

And no, both cards are r9 280x gaming g3.

DSR one of the cards so that you can have two that look and perform the same.

Going to have a quick word with Gibbo hopefully. As I think a bios flash may sort it. But need to check

I'd return the 1.1 and ask for a 1.2 to match personally.
