Is it ok to leave flowers in the boot overnight?

Normally get them delivered to work for her but thought I would give her them in person this time with it being a Sat. If I get them tonight (4pm) will they be ok in the boot overnight?

I imagine it will be pretty cold tonight judging by the forecast.

If you fill the boot with water should be fine, Id use a vase though.

Yeah but one night will be fine. If you buy a decent bunch of flowers they usually have a "ball" of water at the bottom anyway. I've left flowers in my boot overnight 4 or 5 times and they always look fresh

Depends on what the weather decides to do. If its going to be frost i wouldnt leave them in there.

Nowhere at all to stash them indoors until tomorrow??

you should plant them in the garden, a nice spot under a tree and pull them out in the morning.
