Is it ok to post a credit card via normal post?

I left mine at home and need it sent to me, can it just be sent padded in other papers inside a regular envelope?

Or are there security risks or other risks involved?

My sister mentioned something about the ppl being able to scan the card even when its in the evnvelope

i can't remember the last time i've lost something in the post but others seem to be cautious.

i'll go with standard post and if it goes wrong, lesson learnt
