Is it okay to install vista on windows using a DVD+RW 4X speed single layer disc?

Will the fresh install be just as normal as doing it from a DVD+R write once disc?

Also do you know if it makes much difference if the DVD+RW disc has some scratches on it?

I mean the disc won't install if the scratch is too bad, is that right?

Many thanks in advance

Digital data is digital data, whatever kind of disc it's on, so as long as the drive can read the disc there's no way it can make any difference...

Why don't you try it and find out? It's impossible to tell whether it will work or not. And I hope you have a license for your DVD+R copy of Vista :)
