Hi All,

My friend is wanting a new Rig but only has £400.

Is it possible to build one with 8 threads for this. it will be a DAW station so 8 threads would be better.

He has a monitor

Thanks

Waza

Not from intel, your past £200 just for the chip and i'm assuming you want drives a case PSU an OS keyboard monitor and speakers.

going for AMD would give you a chip for £140 but its still too small a budget to get the rest with windows alone taking £80ish either more money or lower expectations.

As an example i have done an 8 thred intel build with the more or less the cheepest bits available it isnt pretty and i would not recommend buying it but thats your absolute bare minimum for intel.
