Hi

Does anyone know of a way to build a bootable CD or bootable USB pen drive, which launches a Powerpoint Slide show, without the need to have a Hard disk with an OS on it. So everything is contained on the bootable device ?

:)

I doubt there's an easy way for Windows as you'll need graphics drivers specific to their hardware, and sound too if it's included in the presentation.

Your best bet would be a Linux live CD if there was a program capable of reading powerpoint files available for Linux? (Question mark as I've no idea if there is or not).

Thanks guys, it's intriguing me this one.

I have all the bits necessary to run the powerpoint slide show on it's own device, using PPTVIEW (microsofts own viewer) and the dlls that go with it.

I just need something like a windows boot cd now, and to try and tie the two together.
