Is it possible to build a laptop?

I see lots of parts for building desktop/tower pc's.. but I've never seen anything for laptops. Is it possible for a home user to build a laptop?

If it is, can anyone recommend some tutorials or guides on how to do it?

Not really.

They are usually made bespoke by the manufacturer with most components built into tth board.

Some manufacturers may allow you to upgrade the gpu.

If you have the skills you might be able to make something portable but you would need to make your own case and power system.
