Is it possible to change the motherboard on a Shuttle?

I've got a little SN21G5 that's served me well for a few years, and will soon be passed on to Mrs Evangelion when I move up to my new Lian Li build.

Apart from giving it a new dual core AMD and a second stick of ram, I haven't done anything to upgrade the Shuttle's internals. Now I'm curious to know if it's possible to replace the motherboard.

Anyone done it? Anyone know of a motherboard that might be compatible?

Only motherboards which fit properly in the case are shuttle motherboards, even if there is a new board that would fit things like the daughterboard usb/sound at the front would need to be changed which could cause more complications. Only thing you can really do is change like-for-like.
