Is it possible to direct feed a pi with DSLR data

As title, im wondering if its possible to:

DSLR --> Rasp Pi --> this 'syncs/transmits' the data to a pc in real time via wireless network.

Any ideas how to do this? Obviously have to run the pi off a battery.
