As title suggests, is it possible to get two different backgrounds per display for example:

Picture A on monitor A and picture B on monitor B?

Can it be done? Does it require any software to do this??

or if you want a free alternative, use displayfusion.

http://www.binaryfortress.com/displayfusion/

(it has some so called "pro" features built in that require you buy it but for setting dual wallpapers, it's totally free. no hassle. just a single .exe that doesn't even need installing. just run it, set the wallpaper on each screen and then close it.)

Thanks for all the suggestions. Quite useful, and always wondered how it would be done.

Will try each of the suggestions, currently triallinh ultramon and works a treat.
