Hi guys,
I recently sold all my modelling kit on eBay but I'm concerned as to how I can send it through the post.

I've looked on Royal Mails website and DPD and both state these items are prohibited. Those are the only two couriers I've looked at though.

Items include: -
Humbrol enamel paints,
tin of Humbrol enamel thinners,
tin of Tamiya spray paint,
some P.V.A glue and some UHA glue.

I know I should have thought about this before putting the ad on eBay but hey we live and learn.

A collection is out of the question as the person lives to far away from me.

Any ideas?

I don't know what would happen if you didn't declare the nature of the contents and they found out, but I've bought and had several aerosol spray paints and some seriously nasty cellulose sanding sealant through the post before with no markings on (no hazard labels etc).

I imagine that lot will come under the Limited Quantities regs anyway. If there are no UN numbers on the items then don't worry about it. Just double bag it and put them in a decently packed box. Parcelforce take DG stuff anyway, i often send stuff via them as i'm a Dangerous Goods shipper.
