Is it possible to register a second hand BFG card?

I believe you can, many users have on here. However I'm assuming that the card hasn't been registered previously.
 
Proof of Purchase for the 10 Year Warranty you need to supply the receipt. This needs to be done within 30 days.

The warranty is not transferable.
