I'm using a car rad and fan for a computer watercooling setup, but I thought you motors guys would be more experienced with rusty things than the people in the overclocking and cooling section.
Basically, I got a rad from a scrapper, and it's got some small rust patches on the fins... The rad itself is ok, and doesn't leek or anything. I was wondering if there was a way to stop the rust from spreading? It's gonna be used indoors, so it's only gonna have water going thru it...
Would it be ok to just spray some black hammerite on it and leave it at that? Or would it be worth removing the rust somehow?
