Is it possible to use a control pad on Live for speed?

Hey guys.


I downloaded the live for speed demo, and im trying to assign a control pad it, and its acting like a nightmare.

All the steering is off and everything, is it possible to use a pad on Live for speed.

Any one else had this trouble, if they have, please tell me how to resolve.

Maybe im not setting the axis right, but i dont know which the correct are.

yes it is posible, go into the game controllers option in the control pannel to caliberate the axis.

oh yeah, look out for all the toys that'll be coming out of prams soon as you've mentioned using anything but a steering wheel in a sim! ;)

When i tried to assign the axis, i dont know which axis to select.

When i turn my left analog the wheel in the car starts having a spazam.

Im getting same trouble, there must be a certain way of working this out :(


All the controls, like forward, reverse are all working from the left analog stick..

I want control and forward/reverse on seperate buttons, any idea how to do this?

I know it can be done because I did it a while ago, I also remember it being a slight pain and an option under controls that I had overlooked, unfortunately I can't remember how.

Don't have the game anymore if you can post screenies of the options screens it may jog my memory??? :confused:
