Hi guys!

I've recently sold my PS4, it wasn't getting used at all since I moved in with my girlfriend a couple months ago, it was simply becoming an expensive dust collector. I wanted to get rid before the Slim and Pro came out, managed to get £200...so not too bad. It's left a gap in our TV cabinet (the PS4 used to fit it perfectly).

Currently to watch films / stream we hook up my laptop via HDMI to the TV, I was thinking about building a very small PC that can fit in that space.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Can anyone recommend a case that's almost the same size of the PS4 (275W×53H×305L)?

2. At the moment we have a old 720p TV, however I'm hoping to pick up a 4K one when a decent offer comes along. What sort of specs do you reckon would be enough for this PC to watch films and stream at 4k? It won't be used for anything else, would an Intel NUC do the job possibly?

Thank you in advance,
Scott :)

I dont think there are many cases that size so you might struggle with a custom build but i was also thinking of the NUC while reading what you wrote. Their new flat black ones looks pretty cool but i don't know much about it tbh. Look up the mini PCs from Gigabyte and Zotac too.

Thank you for the reply, I was starting to think that would be the case.

I wonder if the NUC / other mini-PCs can handle films and streaming at 4K?

Ive been thinking the same thing but I dont know if the NUC would be enough for us.
I currently have an i3 laptop sitting hooked up to the TV via HDMI and a usb keyboard and mouse hooked to it. our youngest has taken to playing Roblox on it through the day so I really dont think the NUC would cut it for us.

Ive been looking at cases and options of building something to sit in under the TV.

They have so many different options, i3s, i5s and even i7s. I reckon a i5 with some decent RAM would work for you? I wish I knew someone with a NUC so I could test out their capabilities... Lol
