Is it right? [memory speed]

hey all

so i have 4gb of geil ultra low latency memory and looks like its running on 400mhz :/ where it says it should do 800mhz :rolleyes:

i dont know how to set the timings right to 4-4-4-12 or maybe am wrong about the speed? here is what cpu-z says

DDR2 its running @ 880.2 i think ......correct me if wrong!!!!

DDR2 actually runs at twice the reported DRAM frequency, So your's is running at 880MHz.

DDR means Dual Data Rate it uses the rise and fall slopes of the clock cycle so effectively can transmit/recieve twice as fast as SD-RAM. Therefore if the DDR clock speed is set at 400MHz (in BIOS or whatever) effectively its DDR 800MHz. Hope this helps.
