I saw a good deal for a 4K TV from a shop in Cezh Republic. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to use the Smart TV contents and if I'll be able to get Freeview HD.

There is a chance it may not be able to receive freeview over here of the normal Czech broadcasts aren't of the same standard and frequency as the UK but many manufacturers make them universal and just ask what country you're in. A chance it'll work and a chance it won't.

Also many TV's now use a special connector on the back of the TV. My LG has a specific one, unique to LG I believe. You'd need to source a power lead and check the TV supports 240V input too otherwise you could kill it as soon as you plug it in.

Czech is 240v isn't it?

Either way most TVs now are dual voltage, just chop the end off the lead and swap the plug, or ise an adaptor if need be. No need buying a new power lead.

If your going t buy a European model tv i'd use amazon tbh .

Picked up a Samsung 40" 6550 on amazon Germany for £408 . Was a good deal and an easy sell for when I want to upgrade later on in the year once 4k is more established.

It doesn't have smart features amd the red button stuff wont work . But HD channels are on it and I get 4k Netflix just fine
