Is it safe to stack a PS3 on top of a 360?

Just wondering if it's likely to cause any problems as the PS3 is a bit heavy. I have visions of it causing problems with the 360's DVD drive or something. Anybody got theirs stacked?

I have 2 external HDDs on my 360 (they get quite hot) and I used to put my laptop ontop of my 360 (it gets very hot) 360 is still going strong.

I sit my ps3 on my 360, no problems, the edge of the ps3 is not flat so it dosent cover the vent.

There are vents on top of the 360 & you'll get scratched 360 CDs if anything heavy is on top.

Try stacking them vertically, shouldn't have any cooling problems that way

I've had my PS3 on top of my 360 for 4 months now and no problems what so ever. I have to put it there because there is no room anywhere else to put it.

I would say go for it - actually, for extra measure why not put them both inside a cupboard and turn them both on at the same time... I'm sure neither would overheat

Well my 360 overheats with nothing on top of it at all! So I wouldnt advise it!
Infact I'm going to return my 360 and get a new one as its crashing atleast once a day!
