Im running my 5850 at the max clock speed that ccc will let me, run the test and it passed. So i tryed a fue benchmarks and im only getting a small 3-4 fps advantage over stock speeds? Any idears what fan speed to set it at to ensure it stays cool? as auto never seems to up the fans and card can reach 60+c. thanks...

ive the 5870 clocked at 900/1300 with fan speed 40% only went to around 60. but it depends on how good you air flow is in the case.

I use CCC maxed out since beginning on my 5850 XXX. I use about 23-24% of fan speed when using 2D (web-browsing, etc) and change it to about 34-35% when gaming (which is a little bit noisy, but keeps my GPU under 55*). I recentely OCed 5850 with MSI afterburner to 870/1200.
