I've just had to strip down my Advent T9002 and put it all in a different case, due to the new Mobo (Abit NF8-V2) being too big for the Advent case (Old ECS mobo went pop!)...
Anyhew the CPU is a 3400+ (skt 754).. All went fine windows regestered without phoning MS and its running nicely!...
The question I've got is... in CPUz and even the system proporties it shows the CPU at 1Ghz (998Mhz), CPUz shows it with a 5x multi?!?...
everything is set in the BIOS (200Mhz 12x Multi)...
Is this supposed to be like this?... When I fire up AutoCAD or a largeish program then it shoots up to 2200-2400 (fluctuating a bit)... Do Newcastle's throttle down to save power or summut!?!...
