got a gigabyte board 890gx and a 1055T raised the number from 200 to 220 and took from 2800 to 3630ghz.
the memory goes to an odd value like 1467? (or something similar) is this normal?
also can i actually get a performance increase by just changing from 200 to 220 ? it works and is still cool? i even had 3.8 ghz with no extra voltage cool also but at 3.9-4.0 it seemed to crash at windows login from cold boot so perhaps more volts needed? but on cpuz it never shows higher? occasionally on HWinfo32 i can speed it spike upto 3.6ghz.
would it be better to disable turbo and keep it fixed at 3.6? as when i tried this the multiplies were going a bit mad and the clock speed was jiggling around a bit at the top end
