Hi guys, after an opinion... I've got the iPhone 4 and am imminently due a renewal on contract. However I'm eager to wait it out for the iPhone 5!
What I'm wondering is whether it is time to sell my iPhone 4 to get maximum amount of money for it and just borrow my mums **** old Samsung until its out.

What would you guys do?
 
Mine just ran out and I kept it and went onto a reduced tarrif of £10.50 :)

Not going to bother selling mine as it'll be a while until the next gen is out and I don't want to be stuck with a temp rubbish phone for a few months. Happier to just keep using the 4.

Guy really tried to push the One X and Galaxy S3 upgrade on me. Was tempted for a second but really want to wait to see what iPhone 5 and Windows Phone 8 bring to the table.

So basically, I'd keep it and save cash on a low tariff while you wait.

I don't see the point of switching to a **** phone for several months for a few quid, surely defeats the point of buying an iPhone to begin with. Enjoy the phone for what it is and upgrade when the new one comes out.

Otherwise if you can live with a **** old Samsung for a 1/4 of year why not just make do it with it, until it dies and save a boat load more cash?
 
Can they just continually run on contracts giving you the freedom to leave whenever provided you don't accept an upgrade? I've not seen any other phone on the market that is making me reconsider and I no longer wish to stay with Orange.
 
You will need to give 30 days notice but that's it. But if you don't need the minutes you could downgrade to a cheaper tariff without extending the contract and potentially saving half or more of your current monthly bill.
 
Way I'd look at it, if you wait until the iPhone 5 is out and you don't want/like it. The 4s will likely go cheaper so you will save yourself some money that way as well :thumbs:
 
I no doubt lose a bit of money not selling mine till I have the new one in my hands, but I'd rather do that than use a P.O.S phone for an unspecified period. I'm sure there were people who sold the 4 in the summer thinking the 4S was about to come out and it came out about 3 months later lol.
