pumps sounding abit grindy and want to add something to the water, can i use redex petrol ?

Hmmm. Wouldn't something like Slick40 be better (if any car stuff can be used at all that is). I mean Slick40 is for PS pumps and helps preserve seals, etc. Surely that would be safer if you have a noisy pump.

I'd drain the loop and take the pump apart myself.

Redex is to clean out carbon in CYL Head etc.

You need some lube for water, likes of some Holts stuff etc to stop noise of pump.

That's fine in a car but in a PC I would rather fix the issue.
