I have just purchased Windows Vista home premium (SP1) and i am unsure if it the 32bit version or 64bit?

All i can find is "included 32 bit dvd and information on obtaining 32bit Cd's or 64 bit DVD, additional fees may apply."

Just unsure if that means i have the 32 bit or 64 bit? If what is the wasy of finding out without removing packaging as i want the 64 bit version?

Thanks

it'll be retail and it's 32bit.You have to go on the Microsoft website and order the 64bit dvd which sots about £7.. can't remember the link of hand. but it'll be in the box somewhere.

It's the 32bit install media, however you can use the serial number with the 64bit install media (disk) for the same version (IE you can use the code from a 32bit version of Vista Home Premium for the 64bit of home premium instead).

IIRC MS will allow you to either pay postage on the 64bit disks, or I think download it from their site.

Yea its retail. Just done some searching and just found this out. Got retail for £96.99. Microsoft sure do like squeezing every penny out of you. Is there any other way without having to buy the 64 bit CD?

Not been a good day today £49 taken out my bank from Prime member that i didn't even know about so canceled that know hoping i will be getting my money back

It says 4-8 working days.

Planning to build my pc at half term but if it take 2 weeks then i might have to be presponed.

Wondering if i should go for the xfx deal atm or wait till 64 bit version comes then see whats on offer?
