is it wise to order my new internet before actually moving into my new place?

well, i'm completing on the purchase of my first flat on monday and probably moving in / getting things sorted by thursday next week. At the moment my bank etc is still registered at my current address.

any way, when i move in i'll be wanting 50meg virgin cable and i'm not sure how long i want to wait. So:
- is it actually possible to order it now and pay using a card that is obviously linked to a different address
- or is the waiting time actually not too bad and i should just do it next week?

well i did the same and it was installed the day i moved in worked out real good

and did you use a card that was registered at a different address to the installation address, ie is that ok?

ordered a few days ago but still didn't get an install date until 12th may!

2 weeks sans internet. Maybe i'll get lucky and they'll be a free wireless one to pick up on.
