Is it worth an upgrade

Hey Ocuk community,
Been thinking lately if it is worth it to upgrade to i7 or wait till i7 6 core cpu come out. Currently having a mid-range pc play all the games i need. If so what do you suggest I buy for the build: case, psu and water cooling

If you were planning to go I7 I would suggest getting one soon as the 920 is going to be discontinued in september leaving only expensive chips in the i7 lineup

Im in the same boat.
Shall I upgrade?
Will cost about £500 but can sell my old gear (in sig)
CPU/MB/Ram/CPU Cooler

If your PC does what you want, why upgrade now. The pound is going up against the dollar and better tech will be along shortly. I would wait it out and wait for the price to drop

For your usage a six core processor will be pretty pointless for quite a while.... Quads are still largely pointless for gaming (not totally - certain games do benefit)
