Is it worth getting a MBP over a MB if there's hardly any OSX games?

I'd like the extended screen size and resolution but apart from that it's just the graphics card. How good is 128mb X1600 anyway? What kind of Mac games are out there?

That was the decision I had to make too.
Decided on a MB as I would primarily be using it for graphics work.
Plus a laptop may aswell be as portable as possible for me.

Mac Games...

To Buy:

Civilization IV
Call Of Duty 2
Unreal Tournament 2004
World Of Warcraft
Quake IV
Doom 3
Halo (now with a UB, though not sure if that's for UK people...)

(All those are UB)

For Free:

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (Not UB)
VDrift (UB)
Nexuiz (UB)
Battle For Wesnoth (UB)

You can throw Bootcamp on and boot into Windows anyway :)
How efficient is it for the hardware compared to a "normal" PC laptop? 100%?

Looks like quite a good list of games Fillado :) How well do they run?

100%, it boots natively from a Windows CD and installs Windows, as with a normal PC (and from then on you can dual-boot OS X or Windows)

I had this same decision. For me, I sold my main PC and my friend rightly helped me decide that replacing a high end PC with a Macbook would not be the best for me.

So I ended up going for the Macbook Pro and have not regretted it, it is a fabulous machine, looks absolutely awesome, the software is amazing with OSX and there is a whole host of free software for it.

Take your pick ;)

Done purely in jest of course, seeing as Im looking forward to receiving a shiny new Mac-mini from work :)

When you get it, you will come to realise not only how good the Mac platform is but how crappy the Winblows one is as well. ;)

Indeed that just happened to me recently. Been at Uni and have barely touched a Windows computer what with my MacBook , and when I went back home and used my Windows computer is was all "urgh" :p
