Is it worth getting a X360 now?

3 weeks, several hours on the phone to Bangalore and a trip to the UPS depot so far for me. Still waiting for it back.

It's a great console, but I wouldn't want to go through all this hassle again.

Ultimatly though the redesign could be months and months away, when he could be having months of gaming now. Worth the risk imo.

Wait for the Elite, only if it's a redesigned version get it, if not i wouldn't bother. Like Tunney i don't want to go through this again (38 days and counting) it's a decent console but not worth the hassle, be patient and wait imo.

Mine started juddering when playing through a projector (no 3 red lights), worked fine through my HDTV though, so I sent it back for RMA. Came back with a new motherboard fitted.

For £200 you might as well go for it theres some great games out at the moment and you now get a 3 year warrinty with it so if it does bork then its not that much of a problem

I'd personally hold out until you can turn your shed into a holodeck.

I haven't turned my Xbox on in nearly 3 months.

I wouldn't really bother with one till September time for Halo 3 bundles.

Off topic: I was going to wait for my DVD set to arrive next month but thought I'd watch the premier as I did with Lost then go to DVD. Was pretty impressed with the program! I bet that guy with glasses isn't really the bad guy.. at least not in a black or white way!
