Is it worth getting RE4 for the Wii??

As above, if the answer is yes then is it also woth getting the blaster addon for the controller? Also is House of the dead worth a go if I do get the addon?

Its been known to be the best version of RE4.

I had it on the PS2, replayed it on the Wii and still loved it, so yes, well worth getting.

The blaster is useless tat, it would be fine if the wii actually had any games that detect where you are aiming on the screen as opposed to where you're aiming on the sensor bar, but there aren't any. So no, it's useless and overpriced (wanna buy mine?

)

Love house of the dead in arcades, however due to the inaccurate aiming that the Wii is guilty of, i wouldn't recommend it.

It's one of the few games I've played through on the wii, very good.

Quoted for being 100% correct.

I played through it 3 or 4 times in about the space of a week. As far as the Zapper goes Streeteh is correct. Not really worth it, only used mine a couple of times and now just play Links CBT and RE:UC without it.

Great game!

I got it on GC and Wii and loved both. Although wii control set-up was a lot nicer.

HOTD is worth a go but I use the two handed gun which came with Links Crossbow training, seems to work well.

after playing it on the pc first, the wii version looks really bad (graphics wise), but the controls are awesome

-this is playing both versions on a 37" lcd

It doesnt play crap, it looks good even if it is a port to the wii and is the best resident evil made since the first PS1 version.

The control method is as fluid as you can get and makes the game a lot easier than any other previous RE games.

No it looks pretty poor, but plays great

After giving it some time I am now really enjoying it and the controls are excellent on the Wii, definately recommended..
