is it worth it???

Have a asus kn8-sli, twin 7900gts with a x2 4400 and im thinking of putting in more memory.At the mo it has bog standard value pc3200 with 1024 of memory.Will upgradin to a performance set of 1gb or 2gb of matched ddr make much difference or since i wont be clocking it just add another gig of same make thats already in.

i do use it for gaming which i forgot to mention, specialy bf2

so what would be the next step of upgrade..get a new motherboard which has ddr2 or bide my time and wait for ddr3.
