Hi guys

Just noticed that the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 is only £220 this week and i'm thinking for upgrading from an E8400.

i mostly use it for gaming.

Is it worth it or will i not notice any difference?

Unless most the games you play right now, are quad core supported then no. By the time games come out which support quad, and you play them this will be a lot cheaper.
 
thats a good point i suppose. I only want it cause i've just been paid and want a new toy....! :D

i really should save my money.
