'bottleneck' cpu has way more to do with which game and which framerate you want to run, so unless you enter all that i doubt a website help much
better to just ask ppl who play the same game

your CPU is fine, don't bother upgrading it. Just get the best GPU you can afford and you're good to go.

Your CPU seems better than my 3930k and I am running a 1080 with great results ...

I think it's more to do with the fact the new GPU's are just stupidly powerful.

You can justifiably upgrade to any card on the market with the CPU you have. You should be overclocking it, however.

Quite amusing that bottleneck site, it says my i7 870 bottlenecks my 780ti even though @ 5760x1080 in Battlefield 4 and GTA V it doesn't hit 100% GPU nor CPU useage (which I'd expect it to tbh)

I currently have an i7-3770k with a GTX 760, I can't afford to go for a full upgrade but was thinking of buying a 970 now they've gone down so much. according to http://thebottlenecker.com/intel/index.html my CPU works best with a 970. I can't afford to go to a 1060+ if the bottleneck occurs because I wouldn't be able to afford a new motherboard and CPU.

Any advice?

Get a RX480 or GTX1060 6GB

that website is amazing and extremely accurate.

Here is what I get :

"Your GPU works great with your CPU.
You should not change CPU or GPU, but if you want to upgrade whole system you should buy new CPU and new GPU."

I mean this is insanely technical so I am now going to rush and upgrade my 1080 ... uhm ... not sure to upgrade to ... so many choices ... what will it be?
