With all this talk of overclocking e6600's i have decided to upgrade my stock cooler that seems to keep my chip at about 47degrees idle for one that will fit into my case (antec p180) and also my mobo (evga 680) some suggestions would be nice.
I have seen sone recent posts about lapping cpu's and heatsinks. Its not something i am familiar with but can guess it is a method for getting each surface super smooth for better heat transfer. Whilst i am changing the cooler would you suggest this would be a good thing to do or will the cooler change suffice?
